Franklin County Jail Programs
The HRA report describes a behavioral-health and reentry partnership with Take Action Today that began in August 2022. It says the program places a trained, state-certified peer recovery specialist in the jail full time. The report also describes crisis-intervention training, a 30-day curriculum, programming three hours a day for four days per week, and support tied to substance use, mental health, housing or shelter, and peer services.
